Are you watching "Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood"? If so, that's the second season. The first season is good, but then it goes into a dumb anime original crap. So if I were you, I'd read the manga.

To be more accurate, "Brotherhood" is a "remake" of the first Fullmetal Alchemist TV series.  I rather liked the way that show devoloped and all.  I'm interested in watching this Fullmetal Alchemist series as well.  It looks promising.

But the first episode to Brotherhood was pretty damn epic. The ED was rather adorable~

Yup! It's just a remake.. but the animation and colors are WAY BETTER than the original, I admit. But I really like the original one.

There's a big difference in the remake and the second season. These two are WAY different from each other... I really like its OP theme and I'm currently addicted to it's ED theme...  Grin Grin

not true. Brotherhood is NOT a second season. it's a REMAKE of the first FMA series.

The first FMA series didn't follow the manga's storyline.
but the BROTHERHOOD did.
